On the BibleThe Movement follows and teaches from the Holy Bible and believes it is the infallible Word of God.
On the TrinityWe believe in one God existing in three persons - The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent to redeem us from our sins (John 3:16), and that through belief in Him alone, we gain salvation (John 14:6).
On BaptismWe believe in water baptism as an outward symbol of Christ's cleansing power in our lives and Communion as a regular sacrament done in remembrance of Jesus Christ, who died on the cross and rose on the third day.
On SalvationWe believe that after salvation, we are "born again," saved by the amazing grace of God, and empowered by the Holy Spirit living in us to carry out God's plan.
On the Holy SpiritWe believe there should be evidence of our belief in Christ, demonstrated through the use of various spiritual gifts (1 Corin. 12:4-11) and the fruit of these gifts and God's work in our lives.
On SinWe believe in continual repentance and turning away from our sins, for we all fall short but are renewed in Christ whose blood covers our transgressions.
On MarriageWe believe in the biblical standard for marriage, and that it is between one man and one woman. We oppose gay marriage and the social acceptance of homosexuality and same-sex relationships. We don't, however, see this as freedom to hate or mistreat others. As with any sin—love, grace and mercy are necessary companions all while teaching biblical truth and pointing people to the only One who can free us from sin.
The Movement's motto is "Be the blessing." As a church, our lives are yielded to the principle of self sacrifice as Christ sacrificed for us, without any expected return. Members of The Movement express our love for God by sharing the love of God with others—loving them as we love ourselves and as Christ loved us.
The mission of the Movement follows the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20), to make and send disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey the commands of God. Our vision is to see every believer be a witness for Christ, thus advancing God's kingdom and purpose.
We're not just a church, we're a movement. The Movement is a gathering of believers in the truth of Christ Jesus. This truth is what makes every believer the church. We are a congregation passionate about God's people and fully living out His plan for our lives. This desire for Christ is contagious and the foundation of The Movement.
