Confess Greatness

We know that what we think and speak is essential to the Christian walk and applying God's Word to our lives. Yet, so often our minds are filled with the wrong thoughts, and we speak negatively, not always recognizing the power that even passively spoken words can have. Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).

So, begin today to recite these Scriptures out loud, daily—even challenging yourself to commit them to memory. Then, meditate on each definition and end with prayer.

It's time to confess greatness and believe it to be true. Remember, if God said it, let nothing cause you to give His words a second thought.

Proverbs 10:22 (NIV)
“The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it.”

Psalms 118:17 (KJV)
“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.”

Psalms 27:13- (KJV)
“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”

Luke 16:10-12 (NIV)
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?”

Thanks be to God! I will retain the great things I have been promised to obtain. My hope in His ability will sustain me. I will not allow fear to detain me. I shall attain what I believe, and I won't have room enough to contain all His goodness. This will maintain my blessings to others. In Jesus' name.
